On 10th October 2019 – Phuketindex.com had join World Food Day Special Meal at Swissotel Resort Phuket Patong Beach, Phuket. This project of Swissôtel, ‘Kids For Kids’ is to encourage guests to contribute to SOS Children’s Villages at any Swissôtel property throughout October. In addition to the ‘Kids For Kids’ campaign, Swissôtel Resort Phuket Patong Beach will offer a special World Food Day Menu on October 16. For every meal purchased from this menu, the hotel will donate $10 to SOS Children’s Villages. This project is held to celebrate their 20th anniversary of working with SOS Children’s Villages.
Dinner Menus: Swissotel Patong
Starter:
– Salmon tartar
Atlantic salmon blended with capers, shallots, chives ,lemon juice with hints of Asian flavors from soya and sesame oil served with a garlic crouton and topped with salmon caviar and quail egg.

– Tuna tartar
Sashimi grade yellowfin tuna dredged in sesame seeds and and quickly heavily seared off on all sides so not to over cook the delicious tuna. Served with wasabi mayo, seaweed salad and tobiko.
Main Course:
– Chicken a la king
A wonderful creamy chicken and celery stew served in a housemade pastry bowl served along with baby veg and a rich rosemary demi glace.

– Creamy pancetta and lobster mac and cheese
A delicious blend of four cheese go into this creamy bacon and lobster infused sauce. Gratineed with garlic bread crumbs and topped with local lobster and pancetta chips.
Dessert: Trio of Crème Brûlée (Vanilla, Espresso, Chocolate)
