Sunday 16th November 2014 was the final day of JW Marriott Resort & Spa’s Gourmet Weekend; the day kicked off with a seafood cooking class by Chef Peter Manifis of InContro Restaurant in Perth, Australia, whilst the grand finale saw the 5 participating internationally renowned chefs hold a Charity Dinner featuring a menu of scintillating Japanese, Thai, Western and seafood dishes at the resort’s Marriott Café. Funds raised from the dinner were presented to the Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation, for the Marine Turtle Shelter & Education Centre opening at the resort.
