On Tuesday 11th September 2012, Deputy Governor of Phuket – Mr Jamroen Thipayapongthada presided over the Official Opening Ceremony of ‘The Chronicles of the Land’ Land Art No 8, installed at At Panta Phuket. Others in attendance included Pongprom Snitwong Na Ayuthaya who thought up the idea of ‘‘The Chronicles of the Land’ project, Suriya Namwong – Artist for Land Art No 7 located in Chiang Rai, Oithip Nitiyanant – Director of Bangkok Domestic Public Relations & Chanchai Duangjit – Director of TAT (Phuket office). The event was also a thank you party for all the volunteers who participated in the project here in Phuket.
